have u tried with a quicker shutter speed. For bright stuff keep it fast and for less lit ones longer exposure! ;)

Yes, what I am tryin to say is, if u make take it @ a higher shutter speed, then it wont appear as exploding as is there in the pic. Try taking sunset at 1/30 and 1/400 and u will see the differemce.
